We've had quite a winter this year! From what I can remember, this is the MOST snow days we've had in one year in my whole ten years of teaching! These changes can be confusing for our kids, and while we talk about it when we're at school, I thought it might be helpful to have something you can view at home too.
We use video modeling on our interactive white board all the time, but since I can't send you the technology itself, I did my best to record my computer screen while I review some basic snow day reminders. Let me know if you'd like me to send you the video files directly!
*Please note, the videos only open from a computer*
We have a snow day!
Let's look at the calendar...
There are lots of fun things to do on snow days!
Please listen to mom, dad, grandma and grandpa.
We dress for the cold weather!
We take breaks to stay warm!
I hope these videos are helpful for your students!
Looking at the forecast, it seems possible that we may miss more days this week. Check in to your email and my blog for more snowy activities to help prevent cabin fever! Stay warm and have fun!
